ZooTeens

What is a ZooTeen?

ZooMontana is happy to provide opportunities for teens to involve themselves within our Zoo! ZooTeens will have the opportunity to take part in an orientation session lead by the Zoo's Education Staff, as well as an opportunity to explore the Zoo and learn professional job skills. The training session will include a fun animal encounter, games, and opportunities to learn more about the Zoo and working with children. After the training session, teens will sign up to assist education staff in at least one, five-day-long, children's summer camp later in the summer season. This is a great opportunity to practice leadership skills in our Zoo's biodiverse environment!

Who Can be a ZooTeen?

  • Ages 15 - 18 years at the time of their respective orientation session.
  • Individuals who can attend one orientation session on a weekend date.
  • Individuals looking to enhance their leadership skills.
  • Individuals thinking about going into a career in conservation, animal sciences, or teaching.
