Melissa Eschenbrenner

Lead Barn Keeper

I began my career working with and for animals in 2007 focusing primarily on the care of exotic felines. Over the years I had the opportunity to branch out and work with everything from Madagascar hissing cockroaches to giant anteaters. While I enjoy working with any and all animals; micro bats, giraffe, and especially red pandas are near and dear to my heart. In 2017, after obtaining an undergraduate degree in biology at BSU, I accepted a position at Zoo Montana. In October of last year my boyfriend and I expanded the ZooMontana family by one when we welcomed our baby girl into the world. I am eager to share with her everything Montana has to offer and foster in her a passion for the natural world.
