Insect Pinning Workshop
December 5th and 6th
Discover the art and science of pinning insects with local entomologist M.L. Kirst!
Over the course of this comprehensive two-day workshop, participants will learn the history, culture and techniques of insect pinning while working with real, local specimens. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will leave with 3-4 pinned and/or spread insects with a shadowbox for display as well as the materials and knowledge to continue practicing at home.

Cost: $150 per person
Space is limited to 20 participants, ages 12+. Participants must pre-register with a fee of $150.
