We are so excited to announce the first project from our Capital Campaign! We've developed a vision for ZooMontana that includes strategic, key investments in multiple areas that fuel our commitment to providing the best-in-class experiences for our animals, staff, visitors, and volunteers. To do so, we're kicking things off with "Wild & Well: A New Era of Animal Care" by building an Animal Health Center.

Wild & Well: A New Era of Animal Care begins with building an Animal Health Center. This building will not only allow us to provide comprehensive veterinary care on-site, but will also create opportunity for educational partnerships for our community. We are thrilled to break ground, but we can't do it without your help. This campaign has raised $1.9 million of our $3.9 million goal. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference for our animals, community, and the future of ZooMontana. Consider donating to our capital campaign to help us build this facility!

The addition of an Animal Health Center here at ZooMontana will allow us to offer faster diagnostics, quicker treatment, and ultimately, healthier animals. This facility will serve as a Veterinary center that will enable us to provide urgent care on site instead of transporting our animals off-site for treatment. With this new clinic, we can provide immediate, more efficient care on-site. 

One of the best advantages to having the Animal Care Center will be the ability to acclimate our animals to the clinic environment before any procedures are needed. We can help desensitize them to the sounds and smells of the clinic, making routine visits much less frightening. Ultimately, this facility will be an essential step in providing better care for our animals which is so important for many of our animals who have complex medical needs that prevent them from living on their own in the wild.
