Lead Asia Keeper
I consider myself to be a ZooMontana pioneer. I started as a volunteer in the spring of 1995 working at the barn caring for critters. Since I was raised a farm kid I understood that it takes cleaning stalls every day, washing dishes all day, grooming and exercise on a daily basis as well as educating the public about the fact that these are living creatures that deserve compassion and understanding. Once I was in the door there was no turning back. I was hooked. My passion opened to me like a flower in full bloom. I’ve had a hand in the care of most of the animals and have worn many hats. You will still find me outdoors most of the time; now caring for tigers, red pandas, takin, and wolverines! I LOVE the zoo and my community too! I am very grateful for this lifetime opportunity. Thank you!
