White’s Tree Frog

LITORIA CAERULEA

Often called the Dumpy Tree Frog due to its frumpy appearance.

Coats itself in a waxy mucus to withstand dry periods.

Will shriek when confronted by a predator.

Sticky toe pads allow the frog to cling to just about any surface.

Sluggo, Male - Hatched 2003 (estimate)

Sluggo was a pet surrender and has been at the Zoo since 2006. He is most often seen soaking in his pool, or clinging to the wall of his habitat.
