Brown Bag Luncheon!

Come to the Zoo on Monday, March 3, at 11:30 to catch up with and meet other members and see how we are progressing on our tasks! Get all the latest zoo news and learn about upcoming events at ZooMontana and find out how you can be involved! New monthly scheduled Society meetings will be discussed at the luncheon, as well as what roles ZooMontana needs out of our members this coming year.

Calendar of Events:

Feb. 14- Woo at the Zoo

  • Starting at 6:00~8:00ish
  • Multimedia presentations and animal encounters about the wild language of love
  • Wine, beer, coffee and finger foods will be offered
  • Still looking for sponsorships- handout

Feb. 23- PBS/ZooMontana Member Appreciation

  • 3:00-5:00
  • Bob Landis guest speaker with his documentary “In the Valley of the Wolves.”
  • PBS Nature Photo showing
  • Special wolf enrichment by keepers
  • Wine, coffee and food

Feb. 29- Leap Day, The Year of the Frog

  • School classes and homeschoolers
  • Educational activities and learning games
  • Arts and crafts

March 29- Bringing Home Bruno Fun Run

  • Looking for sponsors for this event to pay for t-shirts and initial costs
  • Will need lots of volunteers for monitoring running path, timing, set up…
  • Spaghetti dinner the night before

April 26- Party for the Planet

  • Big Earth Day celebration
  • Need sponsors and vendors out here
  • Local businesses and corporations who are also practicing “going green”
  • All day event
