Today we watched some dancers in the amphitheatre. We also did a dance of our own, which was pretty awesome.
Program is full for the summer, be sure to apply next year!
Program Requirements
- Age 9-15
- Availability Fridays from 9-3
- GPA 3.0 or above
- Application Essay
- Interest in the outdoors, animals
and plants
What Do Youth Volunteers Do?
In a nutshell, anything and everything,
and we have fun doing it.
On the docket for this summer:
- Creative painting projects
- Work in the interactive children’s
barn
- Gardening
- Exhibit guide and teaching stations
- Spend 1/2 day with a keeper
- Create a fund-raiser to purchase
food stations for the waterfowl area
- Games and Face Painting at
events
- End of the summer pizza and ice
cream party
