ADD AN EdZOOcate ANIMAL PROGRAM TO YOUR ZOO VISIT!

We will now be offering amphitheater programs daily from May 1- September 30 for the general public, to be included in admission. The set times will be 11:00am and 1:00pm.  This means that if your school group wants to attend an amphitheater program in that time frame, you can now do so at no additional cost (other than admission, of course)!

If you are unable to come to the zoo during the scheduled amphitheater date(s) or time(s), or if you are interested in something more for your students, we’ve got you covered with our new ZooTours program! A ZooTour program will be curated to your group’s grade level and will include pre- and post-lesson plans for before and after your trip, as well as a standards-based lesson, activity, and animal encounter on the day of your visit.

In order to keep the student to zoo educator ratio balanced, we will break the total number of students into groups no larger than 30. Here are the options for group sizes and pricing:

ZooTour Option 1:

Size of school group: 1-50 students with a max of 60 students (≤30 students per tour group)

Length of Tour: 1 hour long

Includes: Lesson, Activity, and Pre- and Post-Lesson Plans

Cost: $100 (plus group admission of $3.50/person)

ZooTour Option 2:

Size of school group: 61-100 students with a max of 120 students (≤30 students per tour group)

Length of Tour: 2 hours

Includes: Lesson, Activity, and Pre- and Post-Lesson Plans

Cost: $150 (plus group admission of $3.50/person)

**If your group is larger than 120 students, and you are interested in the ZooTour, please feel free to contact us – we are happy to find a way to provide a similar opportunity to your students.

We still ask that you call/email and schedule your group visit in advance, even if you only plan to attend the public amphitheater program that is included in your admission price. This helps us make sure that there is enough space for all attendees to the program, and helps you by locking in your school group rate for admission.
