ZooMontana's River Otter habitat is considered to be one of the finest.
Two glass viewing areas allow visitors to see the animals both above and below the water surface.
A large lower pool allows the otters to display their great swimming ability. Although this pool is drained for the
cold winter months, the otters can often be seen playfully sliding down the snow and ice which covers the habitat.
The smaller, upper pool is filled by a cascading waterfall during the warm season and is heated during the cold season.
