Homestead Area with Children's Zoo and Interactive Center

A popular place for families with children, the barn area houses over 11 species of domestic animals which visitors can interact with. Many of the animals come to us as babies in the spring and are on loan from farmers and ranchers in the area. This gives visitors a chance to watch and enjoy the animals as they grow into adults during the summer months. Animals found in the Homestead area include sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and peacocks.
