Photo Contest Rules
    1. Photographers must follow all zoo rules including staying on the path and not disturbing the animals.
    2. Photos can be taken with color film, black and white film or digital images. All entries must be taken at ZooMontana between Oct 1st, 2007 and Sept 1st, 2008.
    3. Adults (16 or older) can enter as many photos as you wish, each photo has a $4 entry contribution. Photo submission must include an 8x10 photo mounted on 11x14 mat board or foam core and also submitted electronically on a cd. Photos may not be framed.
    4. Children (up to 15 years old) may enter up to 5 photos, no entry fee. Entries must be 4x6 prints, and not mounted or matted.
    5. Contest is not open to professional photographers (those who receive more than 50% of their income as photographers).
    6. All entries must include a) a completed entry form, b) the entry contribution as appropriate.
    7. On the back of each photo put:

    Title
    Name
    Address
    Telephone Number
    Email

    8. Reproduction Rights and Liabilities: ZooMontana reserves the right to use all entries and reproductions thereof for the purpose of promoting and supporting the Zoo without payment or services to the photographer. The copyright, however, will remain with the photographer. Photo credit will be given when possible. Submissions of your photo and entry form constitutes acceptance of these terms. All digital entries will become the property of ZooMontana . Reasonable precautions will be taken to protect the entries, but the Zoo accepts no responsibility for loss or damage incurred before, during, or after the exhibition of entries.
    9. A model release for each recognizable person (including yourself) must be signed by that person or legal guardian and must accompany the entry (see entry form).
    10. Your entries must be received by ZooMontana on or before September 1st, 2008. Winners will be notified and prizes awarded by September 30th, 2008. Photos will be on display for Visitors’ Choice voting from September 8th – September 22nd. Each vote requires a $1 contribution.
    11. If your photos are to be returned by mail, you must include a stamped, self addressed envelope large enough to accommodate the mounting board.
    12. Winning photos will be on display at ZooMontana through October 19th. All other photos may be picked up at the zoo between October 20th and November 1st, after which they will become the property of the zoo.
