Party for the Planet |
This year ZooMontana is partnering with the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) and other national zoos in our Earth Day celebration, Party for the Planet. This event will take place on Saturday, April 26, and be an all day event from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Our goal is to educate the community on the importance of living an environmentally conscience lifestyle by providing a fun and interactive event.
We would like to invite other local businesses and organizations who practice “going green” to have booths and exhibits set up throughout the zoo. This is a great PR and marketing opportunity for area businesses because it gets your name out to the community in a positive light. This event will be advertised locally by us and nationally by the AZA on Animal Planet and on the Discovery Channel. If you choose to be a part of our Earth Day celebration we will also put your logo on our web page as a business sponsor. Because we want to create an event that is not only educational but also enjoyable for the community, we are offering booths at no costs.
We are going to run this event similarly to how we did our Boo at the Zoo Halloween celebration last October, which brought in over 2000 visitors to the zoo. I strongly believe that Party for the Planet can bring in just as many people if not more. Today, talk of “going green” is at the tip of everyone’s tongue; please help us educate our community about the importance of preserving our beloved planet. Please RSVP by April 22nd if you would like to be a part of this celebration.
