This year ZooMontana is partnering with the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) and other national zoos in our Earth Day celebration, Party for the Planet.
Saturday, April 26
10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Spend your day at the Zoo and discover ways to “go green!” KIDS ARE FREE!!!
- Local businesses will have exhibits and activities to teach you ways to become more eco-friendly!
- Readings from local children’s author Jean Peterson with her new book Moose Shoe’s!
- A presentation will be given on old Blacksmithing techniques and horse shoe fabrication!
- Special animal enrichments will be given throughout the day from our keeping staff!
- Get a behind the scenes tour of our new Stillwater Bear exhibit before Bruno makes his way home!
- Joe the Juggler will be making animal balloons
