ZooMontana can play host to a number of venues from birthday parties to weddings and company picnics.
We provide the space you provide the guests and the fun!
You can have a caterer, inflatable, tent and party favors. Your guests during regular business hours can enjoy the
grounds. Upon request and availability, our keeping staff can provide your guests with a special animal encounter.

Rental Policies & Procedures
- Additional events may be held in other areas of the zoo at the same time.
- Insurance coverage for damage, loss and/or other liability is required in each instance of use
of ZooMontana property.
- Staff shall be present to oversee the facilities during the event, to answer questions,
and to close after the event.
- For a wedding, rehearsal must be scheduled the day/night before. Facility Use Policy applies to rehearsals.
- Bathroom facilities are available only during normal operational hours. During after hours and/or in the instance of a larger group,
you may provide alternate, portable facilities.
- The Homestead House (no bathroom facilities) is available for use as a changing room, in the event that no
other activities are taking place during that time.
- No rice, birdseed, balloons, or confetti may be thrown/used on zoo grounds.
- Prior approval must be made to serve alcohol at an event. The alcohol must be served
by a caterer endorsed with a liquor endorsement license.
- No smoking is allowed on zoo grounds.
ZooMontana offers only the facility. Tents, tables, chairs, flooring, etc. will need
to be rented from a party rental supplier.
In order to reserve the day that you would like, we recommend that you book 6 - 7 months in advance.
Contingency Planning
We recommend having an alternate location, or subsequent arrangements made, in case of inclement weather.
In the event that a wedding or reception is cancelled up to 15 days before the event, only the deposit may be returned.
