Green Team Camp

Join the Green Team for our Family Camp!
This is for families with children ages 3 and older. Perfect for spending quality family time together learning and GROWING. Hands on gardening, conservation, education to help your family learn to GO GREEN!!

Camp subjects for Tuesday Wednesday camps:

TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY

Week 1

ZOO ART This camp is for everyone from the drawing impaired to the budding artist. We will explore drawing, water color, and pen and ink techniques with a variety of WILD subjects. Supplies included.

Week 2

FEAR FACT or FICTION Don't be afraid to try this camp!!
We are going to learn about animals with bad reputations and why people fear them. This will be hands on for tactile learners.

Week 3

Z.S.I. Zoo Scene Investigations WHO DONE IT? Investigate a different crime scene each camp! Our education department has been on the case to bring you mysteries from the wild. Campers put clues together to solve the crime.

TUESDAY 1/2 Day CAMP - $80 / $65 for members

Tuesday mornings - Ages 4-6 from 9:00-11;30
Tuesday afternoons - Ages 7-8 from 1:00-3:30

Youth Activities Every Day of the Week!

D.I.Y. Camp

Friday is Do It Yourself Camp
Starting June 6th, we will offer special curriculum packages for sale on Fridays. You become the instructor & MAKE CAMP!

DIRTY JOBS $125 / $90 Members

Must be 13 years and older, with a strong stomach!! You will GO WHERE THE KEEPERS GO, and DOO their job. This behind the scenes opportunity will be coordinated separately, please get your application from the Education Department.

YAZOO'S $200 / $125 Members

This years YAZOO's program will provide an important link in educating other youth through example and assisting in learning opportunities. Participants will interact with staff and local experts April through December. Apply in the Education Department.

Camp Rules and Requirements

  • Accident release form must be signed prior to admit to camp
  • Parent or guardian will stay with children during the Monday Family Camp
  • Dress appropriately, play clothes and bring a jacket
  • Full day camps require you to bring a sack lunch
  • Your payment holds your place in camp
  • Hands to yourself, students need to respect each other
  • ZooMontana has a zero tolerance policy for visitors not following the guidelines for zoo visits. Rules are posted as you come in the gate, please take a moment to review them.
  • Camp starts promptly at the designated time, please arrive 5-10 minutes early if you have questions. If you are going to be late for pick up, please call the front desk.
  • MEMBERS ONLY camps are for ZOOMONTANA members.
  • To receive a full refund, your written cancellation notice must be received one week prior to start date of camp.
