Mission
ZooMontana has an obligation to the citizens of the region to inform and educate people about the environment and ways to conserve it. We want our visitors to experience wonder, excitement and the underlying “Unity of Life” of our environment. Through this concept, we hope to help visitors understand that they can make lifestyle decisions which will impact the world today, for ourselves, and the world of tomorrow, for our children.
Goals
- To excite visitors and generate curiosity
- To create an educational setting that leads our visitors and community to a better understanding of, and appreciation for, the complexity of our relationships with wildlife and the environment, locally and globally.
- To provide the community with a family oriented, on-site and off-site, education program.
- To provide education curricula addressing the role of zoos and aquariums in conservation, locally and globally.
